Faded fabrics swell and twist in the hot desert wind of Northern Jordan, across the tents of a Syrian refugee camp. Sydu is six years old. He holds something in his hands, something small, frail and abandoned, cupped in both palms like a treasure, and whispers to it his hopes and dreams. This story for all ages sheds light on the gentle, unyielding protest against fear, conflict and separateness through our innate capacity to love and to care: life's simplest key to meaning and happiness.
